They had a date that morning.

Stephanie wakes up with difficulty. She didn’t sleep very well. Her insomnia has taken over for several days now. When, finally, she gets out of bed, and looks out her kitchen window, while sipping her strong black coffee, nature offers her a tremendous show.

The sky is certainly veiled but the air is soft, the birds are shouting with intense joy. Everything encourages you to fully live this beautiful and promising day. Stephanie takes a quick shower and leaves her house, a smile on her face, her gait smooth. Everything is there, she feels it, she knows it, she wants it too.

Jean-Luc is up early and in a good mood. Like every morning. He sleeps little, recovers very quickly. Above all, he loves permanent activity. He then embarks on projects that are sometimes simple, sometimes insane but always achievable. He is on his third coffee when on a whim he decides to leave his house.

The sky above his head leaves him somehow puzzled. It’s not blue, it’s not really grey either. Finally he convinces himself that the rain will pass its way. One thing leading to another, from streets to alleys, Jean-Luc finds himself wandering along the quays of the Seine.

Stéphanie stops in front of a grocery store that particularly attracts her with its rows of fruits and vegetables in multiple colors and so well arranged. She indulges herself with bananas, carrots, mangoes, essential for her daily smoothies with unsweetened coconut milk and a hint of cinnamon.

Jean-Luc indulges in his favorite activity: taking snapshots with his mobile phone. Obviously, the quality is not as exceptional as with a leica but that is more than enough for him to fill his memory box.

Stéphanie nonchalantly walks along the quays and stops in front of this bookseller with the green box which attracts like a magnet. She bends down and dives into these dozens of books from all walks of life. Jean-Luc bends down to photograph a pigeon and steps back a bit abruptly. He jostles the young woman and knocks over her shopping bag, the mangoes roll on the sidewalk. He rushes to help her, holds out his hand. So their eyes meet and…
