\nWe’ve been here for so long. There are a few of us, old buildings of\nyesteryear, with bright colors, somewhat rickety architectures, with\nan insignificant joie de vivre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

We have gone through\nyears of years, of war, of peace, of deaths, of births. We are the\nmagnificent hearts of civilization. We carry hope, joy, resilience.\nWe are as many life paths of the humans who have inhabited us as\nstones and wood that have built us.
\nWe lean in all directions to\nbetter fight for our survival, fight the elements to remain upright,\nalmost intact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are today for\nmany tourist attractions. We delight souls in search of authenticity,\nwandering artists, lovers of color, space, poetry. We are all of\nthese things and more. We offer a particular vision, a desire to stay\nupright, and to try, to attempt, to go all the way. We give\neverything, that\u2019s who we are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes, after\ndark, we talk to each other. We talk about our past, our present, our\nfuture. We discuss our options, which are numerous, everything we\ncould do to help, support, arrange, improve. Hush! It’s a secret that\nwe share with a few insiders, with all the people who believe, like\nus, in this something, this tiny nothing in the air, this force, this\nenergy that makes us vibrate, shiver, love, hate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Often, when day\nbreaks, we share with the sky, the clouds, the sun, the different\nshades that they carefully apply to our facades. We have a lot of fun\nwith shadow and light and their effects in the eyes of onlookers who\nwalk casually past our clay feet on the slumped sidewalk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, how could\nwe forget this powerful, limpid and dangerous element: water! It is a\ndaily treat to gently bathe in this immensity. The reflections are\ncountless and unique. We love decrypting the stories of a day, an\nhour, a minute, a second, dictated by the water. The changing colors,\nthe incessant swirls particularly intoxicate us. It is a permanent\ngame that distracts us from the possible gloom and sadness that\nsurround us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
