A rich, handsome, smart man meets a rather ordinary young woman with a fiery temper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Except that the\nromantic comedy takes place in Amsterdam, among the canals and the\ntypical houses that rise up to the sky, half-crooked but magnificent.\nThe man is on the terrace of a caf\u00e9, he is waiting\u2026. A young woman\nruns across the street\u2026 Too fast and without paying attention. She\nis knocked down by a cyclist who does not even bother to stop but\ncontinues on his way, shouting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The stranger jumps\nup and helps the injured young woman. She fainted. He revives her,\ntakes off his jacket to put it under her neck and speaks to her\nsoftly. She regains consciousness. She tries to get up but is unable\nto. It is too early. She clings to him. He takes her in his arms and\ngently supports her. She has never felt so safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She raises her head,\ngazes into his. But she is blinded by the sun still too high. Even\nthe two tall buildings in warm tones like embers aren&#8217;t high enough\nfor her to stare at her good Samaritan as she pleases. She would have\nliked these few minutes to last a lifetime but\u2026 Here she is\nstanding, just supported by the arm, very lightly. He gazes at her\nseriously, questioningly. He is probably worried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She smiles at him,\nlowers her head, tells him as best she can that everything is fine.\nShe tries to escape him but he holds her tighter now. He has no\nintention of giving up on her so easily. She staggers to the nearest\nchair and slowly catches her breath. He is still there. He says\nnothing, but his mere presence is enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The owner of the\ncafe, who witnessed all the scene, brings her a glass of water and\nasks her if something else would make her happy. She gladly accepts\nthe water but declines any other proposal. She is in shock. Why ? The\nincident followed by the fall? Or the special attention of that\nhandsome man sitting next to her?<br>\n<br>\nThen, the impossible\nhappens&#8230; Her savior&#8217;s cell phone rings. So he pulls it out of his\npocket, answers, gets up, and quickly walks away.
