So the Louvre is nonetheless the second biggest art museum in the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

I never managed to visit it in its entirety. Besides, I’ve never tried it to be honest. This huge 800-year-old building impresses me. I get lost every time. If I’m looking for something in particular, I go to reception desk like any tourist and I make the person repeat several times to be sure I understand the path to follow. And of course, on the road, I ask again because inevitably in the meantime, I got lost. I have a very particular sense of direction which always takes me away from my initial choice but allows me to discover many other things!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite place is\nwhere I can see Chardin\u2019s paintings! He is one of my favorite\npainters. In fact, one day I went to the Louvre with a friend and she\nsaid to me: \u201cwe\u2019re going to visit the 18th century painters.\u201d I\nsaid OK, having no idea what awaits me. We visit a room, then\nanother, and yet another. It’s so huge. I start to have enough of\nvisiting after two hours. Anyway ! My eyes blur and my brain\nexplodes. I would dream of running out and walking along the banks of\nthe Seine. It’s beautiful weather outside…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And then, suddenly,\nas I was about to give up… just around the corner… Chardin!!! I\ncouldn’t believe it. I was thrilled. I didn’t want to leave anymore.\nIt wasn\u2019t an option anymore. I moved from one painting to another\nlike a child discovering her Christmas presents under the tree on\nDecember 25. My friend, for her part, only wanted one thing: to go\nhome!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make things\nclear, after a few very long minutes, I gave up. But what a joy to\nsee, in real life, the works of your idol. I discovered Chardin at\nthe painting studio where it all started for me. I wanted to paint a\nhunting picture. And I found myself doing my first painting after a\ngreat master: A green-necked duck attached to the wall and a bitter\norange (1730), which is at the Mus\u00e9e de la Chasse et de la Nature in\nParis.
