Alone in front of the mirror, she tirelessly repeats the same movements since childhood. She has always wanted to dance. As a child, she watched The Nutcracker on television, her favorite ballet. Well, her mother’s!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Learning was\ndifficult, a lot of work, a lot of suffering too, but so much\npleasure and satisfaction at times. Her parents were against it,\nespecially her father. To have fun, to keep busy on Wednesday\nafternoons, why not, but to make dancing your career, let’s be\nserious for two minutes. It’s completely ridiculous, you have to be\ngifted for it, and if that was your case, we would known.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Far from\ndiscouraging her, she felt she had wings. She invested herself\nwholeheartedly, even putting her body through the worst to achieve\nher goals. Finally, as a teenager, she was able to join the Paris\nOpera, a crowning achievement. An exceptional school where defeat was\nnot an option. She worked hard on dance and all her school subjects\nas well. It was an integral part of the deal. Her father never came\nto a single one of her performances. Never! Her mother, meanwhile,\nnot wanting to upset her husband too much, came secretly whenever she\ncould.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She grew up, she\nprogressed to the point of blood. She never regretted a single second\nof her life dedicated to her art. She joined a professional troupe.\nShe traveled the world. She practiced classical dance, the best to\nlearn, then branched out into contemporary dance, which was a perfect\nmatch to who she is, her search for freedom, for interpretation. She\nachieved her ultimate goal: to become a soloist within the troupe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, she grew\nolder, and little by little, her desire changed. She wanted to create\nher own, to teach. Sharing her passion with an audience of future\nprofessionals and amateurs changed her life. It’s very rewarding.\nSeeing students progress thanks to her, thanks to their perseverance\ntoo. It’s a team effort. You have to give in order to receive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alone in front of\nher mirror, she improvises new gestures, new steps to music she has\nchosen. She brings an emotion to life, responds to a specific theme,\nto a particular instruction she gives herself to go further, to\nplease herself, to achieve the satisfaction of truly felt movement.\nTo go all the way\u2026<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
