Once upon a time … in a small town in the Loir et Cher, by the sweet name of Mareuil sur Cher … a feline legend that transcends the borders of France. Intimate friends call him Doudou!

Doudou, as determined and obedient, fearless and cuddly, hunter and greedy, adores his masters. He managed to tame them to his own end. He imposes easily his schedules and more particularly his night habits. But above all, he likes to come in, then out, then in, then out. Which one will breach first! Humans are fantastic! Never, ever, did he have to complain about freezing outside because as they get older they become deaf … Not a chance!

And then there’s another crucial detail, that is food. The croquettes, the pâté, the catisfactions… Great! But where Doudou is particularly lucky and he is fully aware of, it’s his milk in the morning. If it’s Dad first, he cleverly claims his portion in front of the refrigerator. He tastes and as soon as Mom appears, same play, and he wins the case. Isn’t it super!

Something he would avoid with joy is visits to a guy with a white coat. As incredible as it may seem, Doudou, with his foolproof instinct, guesses from far and far away the appointment coming! So there are more than a thousand tricks that he must foil until, finally, out of love for his poor exhausted parents, he agrees to enter the laundry basket. It must be said, as well, that Doudou is looking for trouble. He hunts, to please himself above all and bring back small gifts for his favorite masters, the neighbor’s rats. Except that … they swallowed rat death and … one thing led to another … he could have been poisoned. So medical examination! As well as the times when these f… car drivers overturn him or after fights from life to death will occur with the crazy cats of the neighborhood who taunt him on his territory. Who’s the Boss? Here comes Doudou!

But nothing will be worth the unconditional love of the two people who matter most in his life, their divine caresses, the sweetness of their voice. Doudou loves his parents so much…
