Oil on canvas – 10,5 x 16 inch – Unique work
In real life, it’s not all about the five senses: hearing, smell, sight, touch and taste. There is also something called the sixth sense …
Some will name it: hunch. Others just won’t believe in it at all. I stand in the “I Believe Team”! That feeling that sticks to my skin when I sense that something is going to go wrong. This internal conflict that goes so far as to make my body react without my knowledge. Tummy aches, nausea are commonplace. This is when you need to take a break and ask yourself the right questions. At work, it has been a real asset. I remember once at a seminar for 500 people where I checked all the badges set on the tables and… yes, there was one missing that was left in an envelope. When an idea comes to your mind, follow it and unroll the ball of yarn. You will never be disappointed. In everyday life, too, bad first impressions are never wrong. Who has not followed them? Me, me, me and me !!! Now I do …
As for positive hunch, it’s more complicated. The signs will not be physical. No conflict, on the contrary, everything is fine. It’s a feeling that’s unfamiliar to me. However, when you have no doubts, move forward without a thought, and act naturally. There you are! This zero doubt, this obviousness, is really an amazing sensation. Here it is, this is exactly the word I was looking for: the obvious. The “how could it be otherwise”. On this path, you will find few followers. And yet, this is the path I took to live my dream as a painter. The “why not me” or rather “it will be me” has become my best friend.
In short, listening to yourself while letting go is the key to attracting your sixth sense and making it your ally. Developing it will then become so easy.
