It’s the big night for Lou and Alix. The night they’ve been waiting for all school year. They’re young and pretty. They’re 15 years old!
Their first big night out without their parents, in a space dedicated to this type of event, by the water, organized by their high school with some teachers present to keep an eye out for any potential problems. With a little alcohol, sometimes anything can happen.
The two best friends have been talking about it for months. They’ve dreamt up elaborate plans, written several screenplays, always with the same main character. They both fell for him, without ever admitting it to each other, or even to themselves. He’s tall, dark-haired, has dark eyes, and an accent that makes them melt. He’s simply irresistible.
Lou and Alix are going to sleep at Lou’s parents’ house. Her father will be their driver for the evening. It’s the first time Alix has left her parents’ house and slept at a friend’s; she’s overjoyed.
They get ready in the bathroom, both equally overwhelmed. They put on a little makeup, but not too much, and do their hair as best they can! Lou’s mother lends a hand to minimize the damage!
They hurry up, they don’t want to be late. As they open the door to the hall, there’s a pre-party atmosphere. They’re among the first, and it’s a bit chilly. Luckily, the lights are dimmed. They wander around looking for their friends and… You know who now!
Alix spots Chloé in the distance, she pulls Lou along and they join her. They kiss each other on the cheek and catch up on the latest gossip. There’s always something new. Then it’s Théo’s turn; they spot him. They wave enthusiastically. He comes running. He’s very nice, they like him a lot, he’s funny, but he’s not the one they’ve been waiting for with such impatience, without even saying it to each other. They glance (discreetly or not!).
Out of the blue, as the group of friends started dancing to 80s music, he stood there, close by, kissing each of them on the cheek; he knew how to charm them.
The evening could now truly begin. Each girl would get her own slow dance in his arms…
